The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), kwara state command has reiterated its commitment to improve on service delivery as part of efforts to ensure the achievement of Transformation Agenda of the Federal Government.
The state controller of the immigration, Nwachukwu Chime made the pledge at the decoration ceremony of the newly promoted 167 officers of the command which are part of the 6,193 officers promoted nationwide.
While congratulating the newly promoted officer and men of the command, the controller enjoined beneficiaries to work harder to justify their well-deserved elevation.
Chime however urged the officers to stand alive to responsibilities by obeying the constituted authority and be above board in the discharge of their duties and avoid action which could tarnish the image of the country.
One of the beneficiaries,Adeyemi Adesola, in his response on behalf of the promoted officers promised to rededicate themselves to work to justify the elevation.
