As naira scarcity persist in Kwara state and Nigeria at large, commercial banks today close as early as One O clock in the afternoon while some did not open for service.

Some of the staff who spoke with Royal FM under a Condition of anonymity explained that banks officials are scared of being attacked as it was in other neighboring states.

Bank customers called on all banks to always send message to all customers if they will not be opened for service.
